Vitezslav Mueller is a member of the new generation of Czech pipemakers, which has established itself around the workshop of Jan Kloucek in Kostelec nad Cernymi lesy.
The practicing veterinarian Vitezslav Mueller is an enthusiastic pipe smoker for many years and has always set itself apart with the themes around this passion. Like so many others, he found a way through personal contacts to Jan Klouceks legendary pipe workshops and so his joy discovered on pipemaking. Currently, his artistic activity is a hobby, but in the future, he tried to lift this on a higher professional level.
Very early in his career he has set two clear lines. On the one hand, he produces classic shapes according to established guidelines, sometimes easily interpreted, but always with a conservative appearance.
On the other hand, he also tried his artistic creativity in a liberal form, can be in a separate series, incorporate and coaxed his briar-scantlings highly inspired bowls.
He uses the typically materials for his pipes, acryl for the mouthpieces and high-quality plateaux-bruyère for the pipe-bowls. Applications are only in rare use, made by different ressources.
