Peder Jepessen is just 47 years old, and yet he is one of danish pipemaker-veterans. For more than 25 years he has been producing pipes, therefore, he has learned his craft from ground to top.
He started his career in 1977 in the workshop of Karl Erik and moved in 1983 to the workshop of Erik Noerding, with whom he worked for twenty years, until in 2003 he finally ventured into self-employment. His shop is located in the backyard of his house, near the ancient Viking city of Roskilde on the island of Sipan. All Jepessen pipes are made by him personally from first to last step.
The only exception is the "silver loop", made by a former silver factory of the famous silversmith Georg Jensen. The spectrum ranges from serial pipes to individual pieces. The total production amounts to about 3,500 pipes, of whom 1,500 will find their way into the german speaking countries.
